This hand embroidered banner was made in Haiti with reclaimed denim and hung from natural sisal rope.
m a k e r + s t o r yEach banner is embroidered with care by Madam Carmelle, who is a part of the team of artisans at Haiti Design Co-Op. Because there is no textile manufacturing within Haiti, the denim and canvas are remnants sourced from jeans factories in the Dominican Republic. They believe each step of the process needs to be done as sustainably and with as much impact as possible.
