These earrings are made by a refugee partner of Hands Producing Hope in their Baton Rouge workshop, as well as handwoven by artisan partners in Rwanda. Hands Producing Hope creates fair trade and ethically made goods that are empowering disadvantaged women around the world. They believe consumers have the power to make a tangible impact in the world by shopping consciously. They work with artisans in Costa Rica and Rwanda as well as refugee and immigrant artisans in the USA. When you shop their goods, you are directly impacting the lives of the amazing women in their programs who have overcome intense hardship and are building a better life for their families.
