As we prepare to close up this chapter of made, we want to take time for two things:
- to grieve. We know for many of us (our team included) this is sad. This isn't what we dreamed of when we opened our doors two years ago. I don't want to be someone who has to turn everything into a new thing, instantly, or who quickly has to gloss over the pain of an end in order to remember that there is hope. There is hope and being sad or disappointed doesn't negate that.
- to celebrate. We are so thankful for the last two years. It has been a dream come true for our team to have our own brick and mortar shop in Williamsburg, dedicated to good stories. We want to take some time these last weeks to celebrate all that we have seen happen - from sweet memories to new perspectives and new friends.
To make space for both of these, our workshop table is open with cards to reflect and bracelet materials if you want to make something special to commemorate with us. Come on in anytime we are open, let us make you a cup of tea or coffee, and slow down and savor the moment with us.
As far as our plan these next few weeks, here are a few things you may want to know:
We will not be purchasing anything else before our official last day and farewell shop party on February 22nd. We say this, because if there is something you have been considering, this is your last opportunity.
- The whole store will be 15% off the week of February 10th. Use the code FINAL15 to purchase online.
- The whole store will be 30% off the week of February 17th with a final sale on February 22nd. Use the code FINAL30 to purchase online.
- Our goal is to sell everything! Not because we are greedy, but to help cover the expenses involved with the shop these last years.
- If you have a gift card, use it!
- Again, like we have said -- no sale around here ever comes at the cost of our artisan partners. In most of those relationships, artisans are paid well before products ever hit the floor.
- We are selling most of the furniture! If you are interested in a specific piece, let us know and we can send along the purchase details.
Thank you for showing up in all the ways these last years for so many beautiful stories. It has been a joy and honor.
Holly,
Ron & I are so sad to hear this news! But we truly understand, I know it was a very hard decision to make. It has been such a blessing to meet you and your Mom. You have a tremendous heart and passion for all man kind; a true servants heart! I know God has a plan for your future, that’s for sure! We pray God continues to order your steps and guide you along this process. We pray abundant blessings for you and your family! We are going to come by the shop and see you.
Love & blessings,
Ron & Marisol Howard
