These scrunchies are made from two layers of vintage cotton sari and come from the scraps. We are all about that zero-waste life. Use it as a ponytail holder or wear it around your wrist for a fun pop of color.

Each scrunchie is made by the talented women of Anchal Project, a nonprofit social enterprise that addresses the exploitation of women around the world by using design thinking to create employment opportunities, products and markets that support empowerment. Anchal means “the decorative edge of a sari used to provide comfort and protection to loved ones.”
Each piece connects you directly to her story and journey to empowerment. While each artisan has a unique story, all are empowered through the community and opportunities that Anchal’s holistic program provides.

No two scrunchies are alike - patterns will vary.
Each zero waste scrunchie is made from scrap material created while constructing other products.
